Wettelijke garantie
Statutory warranty: information for consumers
In accordance with Belgian legislation (Act of 21 September 2004 on the protection of consumers in relation to the sale of consumer goods, now incorporated into the Civil Code), the consumer is entitled to a statutory warranty of one year
for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the good and manifesting itself within a period of one year from that delivery.
This warranty applies exclusively to sales to consumers (B2C) who purchase the product for private purposes. Purchases by professional customers (B2B) fall outside the scope of this statutory warranty.
The consumer is required to notify Antwerp SNKR of the lack of conformity within a maximum period of 2 months
from the day the defect was discovered. Any notification made after this period voids the right to the warranty.
If the warranty applies, the consumer is primarily entitled to a free repair or replacement
of the product. If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, the consumer has the right to demand an appropriate price reduction or the dissolution of the sales agreement.
The consumer must present proof of purchase to claim the statutory warranty. Defects caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accident, or neglect are not covered by the warranty.
What to do if there is a problem?
Please contact us if you believe your purchase does not conform to the agreement. Include your order number, describe the problem, and attach photos if possible.
